Owing to the crisis caused by the worldwide COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic cycling events in many parts of the world have been cancelled or deferred.  This included the 2020 Tour de Yorkshire, which had been scheduled to take place over the weekend of 30th April – 3rd May 2020.
